This movie is doomed even before it landed. I mean look at the Indians busy gushing about not one but 3 HW movies and making them blockbusters at the BO just a week prior to this one’s release.. This one doesn’t even stand a chance. I am still going to watch though for the love of Ranveer. Hope Alia’s nostrils decked up with that silly nose ring won’t block my view. 😅

The truth is no one knows the actual budget except the producers.

I think this new information in part is out to counter the 265cr number. People are not disputing the 178crore here. The argument is against the claim that the movie has made up 90% of its budget therefore it only needs around 20crores to break even. Because this implies that it’s a blockbuster with 60-70 crores box office collection. That’s not how that works.

Waise for some reason people around me (who usually dont watch Hindi films) want to go for this one. I have very politely rejected all invitations to accompany. It stars two actors I immensely dislike, I am never watching this one.
