Looked him up and yes I recognise him. Thanks. I remember liking him when he appeared on some talk show. What do they call the other Vijay ? There's some name ..like Dankapati. It's not his last name ,just something his fans call him.

I don't know enough about his fans...I got to know him as an actor when I watchend Vikram Vedha (and then some other of his movies) with English subtitles.

I got to know a lot of South Indian stars this way as I prefer to watch the originals instead of remakes (when I can).

Savita, the 'other' Vijay, you referred to, is the one who is called Thalapathi by his fans...he has a cameo in Jawan (his actor's name is only Vijay)
