Sikandar Kher, who is not even a film old, is perturbed by reports that he misbehaved with Saif Ali Khan's girlfriend Rosa at a public function.

Apparently a 40-plus superstar notorious for driving into trouble, who resents Sikandar's proximity to the Bachchans, has been going out of his way to initiate the rumours and bring Sikandar down in every possible way.

According to a very close friend of the Khers, "This hostility has been going on for a while. The guy has been gunning for Sikandar at every given opportunity. When at an awards function in Malaysia, Sikandar was cheering Abhishek, this star heckled Sikandar and told him to shut up. These rumours about Sikandar's alleged misdeeds are being spread by this particular star."

Reacting to the allegation of his misbehaviour, Sikandar says,"I've heard about this but I don't want to get into such under-hand politics. I'm only starting out. I don't relish the idea of being branded a rude flirt and a skirt-chaser even before my first release. Think of what people like Mr Yash Chopra with whom my dad is associated, will make of all this. I've my parents' name to protect. I'm very serious about my career. So please let me be."

Says Sikandar, "I challenge anyone mentioned in that article to please come forward and corroborate this. I've spoken to Rosa and Saif. They're shocked. My mom and dad who are such an integral part of the film industry are shell-shocked. I'm not capable of behaving badly in public. If I do so, my dad will personally whip my a@#e."
