Top Ten First Weekends Post Pandemic - Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan 4th

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had the fourth highest weekend post the pandemic for original content which is the best collection outside Pathaan, Brahmastra and Sooryavanshi which were all event films. Being a Salman khan starrer on Eid it should have got higher numbers but simply put films like Race 3 and Bharat may not have been huge hits but they looked bigger films than Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and this gets reflected in the opening.

The reason why the 62 crore nett seems okay is the numbers of other films where a 50 crore nett weekend is looking a difficult task with only films five films outside Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan managing to reach 50 crore nett. There are many big films under 50 crore nett even with the support of national holidays.

The other side is that Pathaan got a 150 crore nett plus weekend and Brahmastra went over 100 crore nett so when comparing with this then Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan looks low but those sort of numbers will only come for a spectacular looking film in terms of visuals and scale at the present time and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was not that The top ten opening days for original Hindi content post pandemic are as follows.

3. Sooryavanshi - 76,72,00,000

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Holds Well On Monday

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has held up well on Monday and is sure to cross the 8 crore nett mark and may well go to 9 crore nett and even higher. Basically the drop is going to be in the 30-40% range and the range is wide becuase a lot depends on where the mass belts settle as many places are recording collections better than the first day. But on the other side there are big multiplexes in metros which are down 50-60% from day one.

The Monday is not a holiday but there is a post Eid affect in many places and this is holding up collections strongly. There will be single screens that come out with business that is as good or nearly as good as Sunday mainly in places like UP and Bihar. So due to this the film is going to come out with good collections on Monday.

If this sort of hold was coming without the Eid factor then the film would be on its way to becoming a HIT with a 50 crore nett second week on the cards but as this Eid factor becomes less and less the collections will drop and it is about where the film will land later on in the week.

At present with this Monday the film is doing well and if the number goes over 9 crore nett then that is very well but the long term business depends on where the dust settles after the Eid card is out of play.

Pathan- multiple star cast along with srk the main star, deepika lead heroine, John villian, cameo extended role : Salman Khan and know brand yash raj

BramhStra: multi star cast , srk:extended role cameo , the Kapoor lad and Alia, thus movie in the works since ages and more then that vfx etc

SOORVANYSI: more then Akshsy it’s a brand franchise though heroines don’t do much in his cop series but it had Katrina in it also Ajay once of his best characters singham and I think he’s best in this rohit shetty series personally

Drishynsm 2 -was a suspense thriller and the 1st one was good and so was the second Ajay and Tabu did a good job in it as well as the supporting cast. Outta the movies listed above it was the movie that was well made remake and movie with twists and turns

BB2- was ok but liked the songs but movie with ghosts not my taste liked Kiara in it and as said the songs Kartik was decent

Gangubhai- alia and slb whose had consistent hits and production values good . I liked the movie personally

VV: remake ok movie so reason low start because most seen the movie even though had hrithik. Saif we know his pull isn’t much.

point these movies understand there openings. So point is a movie with negative WOM negative critics , remake, newcomers, and rest ok star cast only superstar is Salman. Again were it TIGER 3 story be something else!!
