I actually appreciate Ajay for doing ads with older actresses too like he did ads with wife Kajol or now the masala ad with Sonali Bendre and has no qualms playing dad in ads or films and does not try to appear as college kid in ads or films now and has worked with Shriya Saran, Tabu, Vidya etc.

The best part is that Tabu plays cop in his films and not always some oldie ageing mom or bhabhi.

He did Tanhaji with Kajol and not a younger heroine. That is also good. Bholaa, Drishyam series have Tabu too.

I also wish it was more of a norm to have filmmakers and actors star with mature actresses and not relegate them to nani or saas or bhabhi or ma roles.

Late Irrfan was another one who would work with Tabu, Dimple, Deepti Naval and other mature actresses and had no qualms in doing heroine dominated films like Piku either.
