If Sanju is a hit only because of Raju Hirani, why is Pathan's success not due to Siddharth Anand, who is known for his high-octane action movies and slick production values?

Anand's brand of cinema is often characterized by big-budget productions with a strong focus on action and spectacle. They are glossy, full of sheen, and larger-than-life characters and known to attract large audiences. Not only that, but his last venture War also broke box-office records, and Pathan followed a similar recipe for success.

While Shah Rukh Khan's megastardom is certainly a factor in the film's success, it is important to acknowledge Anand's contribution to the film's overall appeal.

Either way, there are people who run down Ranbir for no reason at all. I read in the other thread that Sanju is hit only bcoz of Raju Hirani.

It's unfair to run down Gen Y and suggest that the era of superstars ended with Hrithik Roshan. Every generation produces its own superstars, and it's important to recognize and celebrate the talents of up-and-coming actors.

You don't know......before Sanju was released my Bira was supposed to give Hirani the first flop of his career.....after Sanju broke all records it suddenly became Hirani's hit....🤣

Regarding Pathan....who do you think would have been blamed if it tanked......not Siddharth Anand?? right??😆

I believe in giving the credit and blame to the same person......if people would have blamed Sid ...beshak usko de doh credit.....but you know that would be hypocritical.....😆

Cause legends like Aamir/Hrithik gave flops in 2022. Akshay/Ajay have had hits (D2/Sooryavanshi) but more flops than hits.

Salman ill set aside since post December 2019 he hasnt had a cinema release.

But other than SRK I think Ranbir has been done the best in recent times

It depends on whose name the movie is sold. If you follow pre-release it's easy to find who should be credited. Make calculation accordingly.
