These people are entertainers. Not something to be idolised about.

Though I never find him handsome 😆

With each generation, public gets more n more demanding. Next generation would even think what we found in khans n they r overrated.

These days public themselves want to become stars by becoming content creators. And they would start feeling how talented they r as compared to Bollywood actors.

Ppl have so much money that they copy same Bollywood songs set n dress n makeup n make reels. So they don't find anything unusually special about Bollywood anymore.

One of the reasons is overexposure via SM .

AB and Rajesh Khanna’s time was different. There were no social media at that time. Forget about social media, there were not even many TV at that time. So girls life revolved around their favorite hero. Nowadays, kids doesn’t watch movies much because there are so many things to watch in social media and in TV and nobody has time to write love letter by their blood when they don’t know someone personally. This generation people realize that actors just do their job and they are nothing like the characters that they play in onscreen. So nobody would idolize actors so badly to write love letter by their blood or do other crazy things. When you see so many good things around you, then you will find things boring at one point. It’s like when you have so much money, then you will get bored of everything so easily but if you don’t have much money, then you will get excited for everything. So idolizing goes the same way.

No kidding. The craze for yesteryear stars like Rajesh Khanna and Devanand was real. My mother used to watch all of Rajesh’s movies as a child even though affording tickets back then was quite difficult, she told me that they didn’t have a TV set so she would go to the neighbour’s house to watch his movie if it was airing on the channel 😆 How times have changed.

Idolisation may be less but the adulation is still there... in a pop culture greatly influenced by all the media at hand - especially the visual ones.

The offers are immense and the focus becomes more panoramic.

It all depends on emotional connect...if one connects to many, it may be less probable to get addicted to ONE.

But I guess, the craze for/when being near celebrities will remain...and - as we have seen with Pathaan (and may witness again with TJMM) - enthusiasm is infectious 😊

I don't know abt others but thwre are bunch of current gen clowns fighting for their favs. Its still there but not the extend that it was used to be for Rajesh Khanna Amitabh Bachchan and Khans especially for Rajesh Khanna & ABsr

The current gen a certain section are living in the reality now and they just don't care

As for me my craziness ended when i am 15 yrs old. At the age of 8 yrs old i thought SRKajol were real husband and wife and whatever was happening on-screen was real how silly of me when age matures i realise that its all stories of fantasy and the actors are entertainers and their salary comes from our pocket and without us they are noone its us make and break them

Its just films watch & forget a source to chill & relax our minds & boredom. But the films now gives more stress & headache that i have minimise watching films too

The actors stars superstars & megastars does not excite me at all watch & forget furthermore working as a airport personnel in my country and saw them peronally completely destroyed that fan in me. Now they are human beings and their job is of entertaining me while i pay their salary by contributing the BO window and subscriptions of OTT

Covid has also has thought so many things and made us saw the reality that life is not fantasies to idolise filmstars there are too much to do in life and its unpredictable

Furthermore the current gen are so exposed nothing excites abt them except to laugh at their antics or feel disgusted of their clownery

I actually think NRIs idolize stars more than the middle and upper classes do in India. NRIs are stuck in a time warp from the era they were in India when idolizing stars seems to have been the norm. They are the reasons stars have their nautanki shows sold out in America, England, Australia.... That way, the NRIs are like the char- anna types who hang around outside Mannat😉😆

What's there to be obsessive over these obsessed people! They are just likable on screen for one or two movies and become highly unlikable due to consistent PR activity and their PDA's.they are confused wannabe with unwanted loud makeups and dressing. They shouldn't be admired or even considered a Star because stars though universal , each of us are connected with it.Its the power of NATURE..unlike these people who are very superficial, artificial , confused and clueless people busy in making a life that's Alien to our Nation.

I feel it's good and better not to be obsessed over these people.
