Yes seems like a different method. Maybe Bms shows orange with much fewer seats filled than paytm hence the discrepancy.

Also today seems much better than yesterday so your estimate might turn out to be close to actual figures but evening shows are more full than daytime shows so average should be less than 50% occupancy.

It did 38-39 Cr on Friday. With the same guess, it would only have needed 37.5% average occupancy. So given the big 7 cities would be driving occupancies, Lucknow would have only had to be around 30% or so to hit the number yesterday.

Yesterday was much less than today. Today i checked only around 6:15 pm so i have no idea how daytime shows went. But i guess they must be lower than evening shows....

Anyways the average today could be anything between 30 -50 %, considering everything.

Bollywood audiences usually don't book tickets in advance. It tends to mostly be people on the counter or people booking very close to the show.

It's a demographic factor. Pathan will be driven by families who don't tend to advance book. As opposed to an avengers driven by young audiences. It's the same as any industry. Even Avatar 2 was very low on advance bookings.

Why I’m saying this is because in the states sponsors/organizers when they invite singers/stars they will ask some influential people to buy x amount of tickets at a certain price and then sell it to others at at whatever price they want to recover the cost. In return by having one on one time with the celebrity and having their name mentioned at the event etc !! I only know this is because in iifa 2017 I was involved in the backstage when Salman came. And last year some asked me if I wanted to be involved in guru randhwa show.

Producers se pehle krk, box-office, other trades ka figure aajata hai aur woh same hota hai ya 1-2 cr ka difference hota hai.

Ticket prices are pretty insane. Which is why it won't need a very high occupancy to hit the numbers. It's the same as Brahmastra. Though in Brahmastra's cases, the occupancies were being driven by 3D and IMAX formats, so the smaller centers were doing even lower occupancies.

Corporate bookings are par for the course. But I don't know what percentage they make.

But regardless tickets sell well they sell. The overseas numbers are pretty spectacular. So I don't think there's any denying that audience showed up.

FF attended an event, you straight up took a job with them. Dedication. 😆

Btw i don't exclude anyone from lying and manipulations... I can spot excessive PR and influence when i see it... and in case of pathan something is seeming off.

Also should i go stand outside the cinema halls to ask how much the halls are full? How else will i know if none of my acquaintances have watched this movie Except for checking online sources? 🤔
