So.. I've been reading on twitter that shows are going empty yet been shown as housefull with bumper earnings. And when i cross check this info on patym movie ticket booking it indeed seems true. In a city like Lucknow friday shows were all available. And even for weekend Saturday shows only one theatre (single screen, novelty lalbagh) shows shows in orange and red. What gives? I'm genuinely interested in how this works... and I'm not claiming anything... Just genuinely interested in how this happens that shows are empty yet popularised as housefull and blockbusters... Most the the prime time shows i checked had very few booked seats..

And obviously this thread will be trashed without giving a reason so answer quickly

Yr it's a Perception game.. Bollywood PR uses Saam Dham Dand Bhed to show movie has got bumper opening.. which sets the ground among bholi bhali Indian audience.

Even for today shows only two shows overall are showing in orange. One of them is of 7:50 pm show.... minutes later to now as I'm typing and the other after 9 of some other cinema hall.
