I've read this also, he claims that his paternal grandfather (or great grandfather?) came from Afghanistan, but his paternal side of the family in Pakistan have denied this, and says he's mistaken, they're originally from the Kashmir region. 😆

Maybe they turn orange at a different threshold of seats than paytm. As in the ss u can see half the seats are empty for a show starting in next half an hour on a Saturday evening. Maybe they'll get full maybe not... But i think today it's much better than yesterday...

Looks like a different method of 'orange-ing'. Still add walk-ins and you should hit 50-60%. If you notice most of the sell outs everywhere are premium seats. It's identical to Brahmastra.

Quick guesstimate - 5200 Screens * 8 shows * 50% Occupancy * 100 Seats Per Screen * 250 Rs per ticket = 52 Cr

Bollywood audiences usually don't book tickets in advance. It tends to mostly be people on the counter or people booking very close to the show.

It's a demographic factor. Pathan will be driven by families who don't tend to advance book. As opposed to an avengers driven by young audiences. It's the same as any industry. Even Avatar 2 was very low on advance bookings.
