This hurts. He was part of our childhood and was in all major films and TV shows.

A very seasoned and controlled actor and usually did decent roles.

RIP.

It just feels like tearing up when faces we grew up watching are no more.

I did not know he was that old. I assumed he must be in his 70s at the most...

@bold this. It just hits hard when you realize that an entire generation that has been a part of our childhood is slowly fading

I always say shows, films, actors, singers are like family or part of childhood or keepers of time.

Your heart cannot believe so much time has passes or things have changed or people and places you took for granted or grew up with are no more.

The heart and often mind do not accept.

Otherwise one always feels one can revisit their past anytime.

We wish to carry everything together and want to revisit it anytime we want.

It is hard to accept some loved one is no more or an artiste who was in every show or ad or film is no more or a place you knew is closed or demolished or you yourself are also no more what you used to be...

Change is hard to deal with and drastic or irreversible changes are hardest to accept.

It is like a part of you is lost when you lose familiar people, places, sights and sounds. Especially ones associated with childhood or youth which were simpler times.

I felt kind of shocked when I saw staff at my old school entirely changed now. Not a single familiar face in real life or in pop culture kind of makes you feel like a stranger lost in crowd.
