This also ain't the first time Nadiadwala tried to make a Hera Pheri 3 without Akshay. Anybody remembers this video?

Not only they had a first look launch, they even started shooting for this movie. But then Abhishek opted out due to disagreements with the producer, and then John also backed off. Movie was postponed and the script was scrapped. Then Neeraj Vohra (director of this movie) died and this project was shelved.

Seeing the reaction on social media about Akshay getting replaced by Kartik, producers might again shelve Hera Pheri 3, this time permanently with no hopes of reviving this franchise in the future.

I know you're trolling, but filmmakers themselves are stuck in the past here. Why they want to make a sequel of such an old movie like Hera Pheri? That too without the original cast? They can keep on casting Kartik in original films, instead of sequels of decade old movies and nobody would have a problem.

Kartik is doing great work even without sequels, his film Freddy looks amazing. He has a couple of other films too that aren’t sequels. Plus have you seen how fresh his skin and hair have been looking lately? He a snack.

There’s nothing wrong with repackaging a brand and representing it. Akshay is old now and nobody wants to see him, people need to move on. Plus he wanted like 100cr profit sharing. All he cares about is money. Glad he got thrown out of the project

You've made two contradictory statements. If nobody wants to see Akshay then people have already moved on. And if people haven't moved on, then they still want to see Akshay.

And why should people move on? They are making this movie for the audience, and if they're not happy with the casting, they would call it out. Yeah, I know Kartik is doing original films as well. He can do one more original film instead of a Hera Pheri 3 and that would be better.

kartik is just piggy backing on Akshay's success, even hare ram from bhool bhulaiya is a hit because of the old song, he looks like a middle aged guy trying to act young. no way he is in his early 30's
