From a my personal experience I will say for love. If I had not met my husband I would have never married.
As a child of divorce I never believed in marriages and always had cold feet when it came to commitment and had a fear of abandonment. My parents had a love marriage so that added to my aversion. I was a thorough cynic at heart when it comes to matters of love and marriage although I'm a sucker for romantic novels and movies I always looked at love as an abstract thing but it all changed when I met my husband. He won me over but took me like 2 years before I fully said yes to him because of all my issues with love and marriage. I did not know it then subconsciously I was testing him and shielding my heart because my default was love is not real, people will leave no matter how much in love they are at one point of life.
