Sarabjit was released in 1400 screens and made 26 crores and was declared a flop. Mardaani released in 1250 screens and made 36 crores and was declared a semi-hit.

Sarabjit was produced by T-series which is a very big banner.

Anyway, flop or disaster - either way her acting was awful in it so it's better for her to just wait and find roles that are more suitable for her and her acting style. I think she realized it too and now waits for the right projects even if it means long breaks.

I don't think so. She got good to decent reviews and she was the first runner up for the national awards for that year. Hope she finally wins it this year for PS1 though.

Saying Aish doesn't support anyone is not the excuse that you think it is. There's no reason why her Instagram has to be a photo album for Aaradya. If she was promoting everyone in the family and nobody was promoting her, then you have a reason to cry about it. You do not when she also doesn't do anything for anyone. She won't even give her poor sister-in-law Shrima a shout-out to help her get a few more followers. Are the Rais also evil to poor baby Aishwarya? How is this an excuse ? She has repeatedly said in her interviews that she’s not comfortable interacting with people on SM when she can do that in person and will probably join sometime later for her fans. If you’re invested enough, you’ll find these clips on YT. We’re there not major allegations against her that she had the Mrs India paegent rigged to have her sil win first runner up ? Why will she give her a shout out to her then ? Who’s even complaining against her sil not supporting her ?

There was an article about it how Shrima was misusing Ash's name to get work and Ash took a stand against it when she learnt about it

Shrima should be ethical as well. Not use Ash's name behind back.

Anyway if Ash herself hardly uses social media nor believes in influencer culture then why should she let Shrima use her name to become influencer or get deals with brands?

Why should Ash promote Bachchans when they do not promote her? Why should she attend book launch of Shweta when latter does not attend her movie launches or screenings?

As of now I see both her and in laws mutually ignoring each other in public.

Though I agree she is no abla naari. She knew what she was getting into. She got what she deserved and invited upon herself and it is her choice to stick to such household and relations.

What I meant to say is that she knew well what she was getting into. She knew nature of Bachchans. She knew how they behaved when they saw her scenes with Hrithik in JA and D2. She knew Jaya's nature. Or Amitabh's as well. She knew it and knowingly went ahead with this relation and stuck to it. So yes she got what she invited upon herself or chose for herself and hence deserved whatever she got or is getting now.

Navya also spoke of how she is asked to take care of guests while Agastya is not. The nature of family was evident.

So it is not like Ash became victim unknowingly or got a rude shock after marriage. She willingly chose to be paraded for upay or totke or married to trees or her kundali discussed openly on national TV. She was okay with being called domesticated by Amitabh and 'quiet, listens, stands behind', used for her by Jaya on national TV. So let her bear it then. She had offers from choicest families from even business world and NRIs, foreigners etc yet she chose only Bachchans. It is her decision so let her live with it.

No offense to her fans but I do not think Ash is a very strong woman. Contrary to what her PR pretended in 2000s where she appeared to be a global go getter, I feel she has always been sort of 'dependent' or emotionally needy.

The way she always had her mom accompany her everywhere right from modeling days or her being fascinated by a man like Salman in 90s despite knowing all reports of his nature and what he did with Sangeeta and Somy. Or her choosing Vivek later. Or even Abhishek.

I have read Sabeer Bhatia, creator of Hotmail had proposed Ash but she declined. She had offers from various tycoons, foreigners, tech moguls etc but if she herself chose someone like Abhishek ultimately who was nothing but a mamma papa ka laadla, nepo kid, flopping big time, just for Bachchan tag and hoping to get access to perpetual fame, limelight, prestige, power, wealth and political connections Bachchans had, even if it meant being in a misogynist household and tolerating an MIL like Jaya then what is left to say about her?

I would say even Abhishek is a spineless man. Any man would be embarassed if his dad openly talked about delivery of his wife or barked about too posh to push or not using epidural. Abhishek has also never taken stand at all in his blind bhakti for his parents. Let Ash deal with what she chose.

I admire Kangana had guts to speak against men who used her. Or Somy Ali also lashes out indirectly or directly in SM posts. Nothing great in silence of Ash on nepotism or how Salman abused her or industry boycotted her for no fault of hers. There is no dignity in tolerating it quietly and not speaking even indirectly about how industry gangs thwart talent or make women pay for mistakes of someone else.

I admire Anushka Sharma also for openly saying how industry ignored her or how they value only success and there is no need to attach self to anyone from industry.

Ash's silence is not dignified IMO. It reeks of a certain tendency to avoid or tolerate quietly or a fear for own self or family. As she indirectly hinted in Simi Garewal show that she did not want her family to be affected.
