This picture is from Mahesh Bhatt’s birthday a few days ago. Here’s another one with the whole family. And at the risk of being accused of jumping to conclusions it looks like he’s the only drunk/hungover person in there. Everyone else looks bright faced and sober.

Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt are recovering alcoholics. Alia is pregnant. Shaheen is on anti-depressants and alchohol is a big no no with those. I obviously don’t know for a fact but it is possible this was a dry party. Yet Ranbir is hangover/drunk.

Well, Pooja has about 3 or so years under her belt and Mahesh much longer. I think they can be around alcohol without an issue. My personal opinion is that it’s disrespectful to show up to your FIL’s birthday hungover. Even more disrespectful if members of your family are recovering alcoholics.

He’s had issues with drugs and alcohol long before Alia came into his life. His suspected alcoholism is not Alia’s fault or responsibility.

Contrary to what his fans, and his mom, would like to think and claim, Ranbir is no catch by any stretch of the imagination. He’s a 40 year who has had issues with drug use for years. Stories of him pushing people into water has been discussed here many times, so has his lack of boundaries and respect for colleagues’ privacy. He’s more than likely an alcoholic. He’s a playboy who’s bragged about cheating. Every other day he does or says something around his wife, or about his wife, that raises some eyebrows and even red flags. Dude is just a hot mess all around who’s so called acting talent is more or less a one trick pony of a misunderstood urban boy who’s finding himself, and his main reason for having any semblance of successes in the industry is his last name and his father and grandfather’s goodwill.

I do not like Alia either, she’s got her own issues, but she could have done way better than Ranbir.
