No! Because weed does not cause hangovers as much. It just makes you lazy and dumb over a long period of time. From the article posted and what people are saying about the Arjun Kapoor KWK episode it seems like he has a drinking problem or is pretty close to having one.

If he was drinking the night before alone than that is red flag.

If he drinks before professional interviews during the day that is a double red flag.

I don't know that many people start early unless they are at an event. Drinking before a professional obligation is career suicide. But he is a nepo kid so there is a privilege there.

This picture is from Mahesh Bhatt’s birthday a few days ago. Here’s another one with the whole family. And at the risk of being accused of jumping to conclusions it looks like he’s the only drunk/hungover person in there. Everyone else looks bright faced and sober.

Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt are recovering alcoholics. Alia is pregnant. Shaheen is on anti-depressants and alchohol is a big no no with those. I obviously don’t know for a fact but it is possible this was a dry party. Yet Ranbir is hangover/drunk.

Like are we arguing with something that so transparent, next we will be arguing that Alia and Ranbir didn't have a shotgun wedding.

Isn’t that the definition of alcoholism? The inability to stop drinking? This is why once in recovery alcoholics are forbidden from every touching alcohol because one small sip can trigger their addiction. They even have to be careful with the kind of mouthwash or cough syrup they use.

I sincerely hope he gets help.

It is not healthy for recovering alcoholics to be around alcohol. Clearly, he was hungover from the night before. People who understand hangovers will know exactly what that means.
