The likes of Kareena mocked the audience at large, believing they'd keep watching.

ETA. Fix their mistake? You mean change their art and change their principles? Because the boycotters are SURE not asking for better stories and better scripts. They simply want Bollywood to toe the line.

We are on all time downwards ride. And to blame it all on BW folks demanding boycot is nothing but escapism. There is no good outcome of all these hatred campaigns. There is nothing good about this entire thing.

I would say it was going well in terms of quality and garbage movies until 3-4 yrs back. With these constant boycot stuff, even good artists, good technicians would suffer and move out of it. We must be awarded as audience to shatter a good industry down like this all by ourselves (or was it by us anyways?) just when it was starting to balance out on content.
