Des and Devi are Big No for me. But I am team Paxton and sigh.

But the ending kind of feels like open ending

It's an okay time pass show.

I was rooting for Ben in S2 and now Paxton in S3.

I bet Ben and devi will be end game.

Mindy Kaling gets a lot of criticism, starting with her own sitcom "The Mindy Show", about favoring non-brown male love interests for Indian women. I think NHIE must have got similar blowback, hence Des. The controlling Indian mother was a nice touch, a nod to how mental illness or mental health issues are still considered taboo flaws in Indian culture. Overall though I ended up skimming most of the S3 episodes, the charm from S1 was lacking.

Agree so much with this.

Hollywood is fickle though - it’s still annoying to me that Bend It Like Beckham launched Keira Knightley (whose acting and looks I find mediocre) but Parminder Nagra (a better and better-looking actress imo) basically fell into TV guest role obscurity.

Maitreyi is also attractive in such a unique and refreshing way. I’d rather see her on screen than cookie cutter Brie Larson, Elizabeth Olsen types, who all look sort of alike to me.
