Aish has also suffered bcuz of that nepo brat selmon. She has full rights to speak up against nepo privileges. And if we are talking abt chehray ka khana then how can we miss out bhoi lol? He was quite good looking before all his hair fell off due to karma or else everyone laughed at his acting

I don’t think I have ever seen Aish been this savage , loved it. It wasn’t direct but she put her point across that Alia is getting haded best of the best offer, it’s another thing that she is also making the most out of them.

Alia is talented and privileged, both can be true. It’s not either /or.

Then we have the Urmila Matondkar-Ram Gopal Verma association... why didn't he offer Manisha or Tabu some of the 5 films he done with her after Rangeela?? She even worked in films he produced with other directors... Bottom line: nobody is self made. The business just isn't built in a way to allow this to happen unfortunately. You need to have someone big and influential in your corner gunning for you in order to make it really big. Examples: SRK + YRF, Kajol + Dharma, Deepika + Imtiaz, Ash + SLB, Sri + Boney

We all know about directors and their "muses". The talented ones like Waheeda Rahman, Urmila and Rani shone when given opportunities. The not-so talented ones like Priya Rajvanshi (Chetan Anand) and Antara Mali (Ram Gopal Varma's next muse) faded away even after being given numerous chances.

Here it's not about one director and his muse.The problem was that Alia was terrible in the beginning. Despite that she was offered roles for which she was incapable of handling(at that point). That amount of privilege was unprecedented. Nobody absolutely nobody got such a platter of creatively curated roles tailored for her. She was given first dibs on whatever precious few films with strong female roles written in Bollywood.If she was in it, the character was written in such a way to give due importance to her character. She was miscast for Dear Zindagi.. The role was tweaked to suit her age dynamics and baby face and it's obvious that the character was meant to be at least 30(perhaps written with Kat or DP in mind). RRR must be the only film where she has an easily forgettable character. To give credit to the girl, she caught up fast after the 3-4 films and does complete justice to whatever films coming her way now.
