It’s kind of too late now 😆. The movie is obviously finished and ready so any postponement now will be an admission that Ranbir’s failure with Shamshera makes them nervous. They won’t do that even if they believe it.
As for TM’s question, it’s certainly not helping. I do find it interesting that Dharma has been so quiet since Friday. They went from releasing Kesariya in the middle of Shamshera promotions to now being quiet. Perhaps they are changing their marketing strategy now. Or simply putting some distance between Ranbir and Shamshera. They’ve got over six weeks before Brahmstra releases. Maybe if Darlings becomes a hit *wink wink nudge nudge* Alia’s movie can overshadow Shamshera and they start with Brahmstra from there.
Darlings is releasing on Netflix, so it's definitely a hit. Kjo/Alia will not let anything else happen.
Brahmastra already released. Many already watched it and felt very disappointed for makers not including “Kesariyan” in the main film.
They might throw a success party 2 hrs after its release.
Brahmastra is giving Vibes of Jangiya Jasos.

Moreover Darlings is a Netflix release so they will hype that it is the “number 1” movie and then celebrate victory irrespective of how the movie actually is. Coz they will not have BO numbers to answer for .
Watch out for KJO on all interviews and KWK talking about Alia’s pathbreaking performance in Darlings and how good a producer she is 👀😬
Ranbir really room a big risk by giving BM's release a green light. I know he is just one producer, but since Shamshera was his comeback, he should have used it to test waters. Agar woh film thikh thakh chalti, toh he should have released kesariya, nahi, toh they should have reworked backstage and meanwhile use Darlings to hype Alia.
Saheb Biwi aur Gangster movie's trailer featuring Sanjay Dutt was stragtically released when Sanju was earning like crazy because they hoped that Sanju's popularity would give Sanjay Dutt's movies some boost. (I think it was named SBaG part 2 or something)
Abhi people are just looking at both the movies in same lens.
Pehle MCU ke infinity stones aur Wanda se compare kiya, abhi Shamshera se karenge.
Plus, who agrees to release such big budget movies like they are art films or Akshay Kumar films🤦♀️
Even YRF hasn't been doing much for promotion. How did they allow this to clash with Bhramastra is beyond me
Agar star koi movie hit nahi kara pa raha to wo star koi movie flop bhi nahi kara payega
Movie ka fate is in audience's hand aur brahmastra ek event film hai
No, it won't. Shamshera's story was not interesting. Trailer was boring itself. Read that Shamshera died in the movie and most was based on his son who was not like Shamshera. If they had base the story on Shamshera it might have clicked.
Bhramastra is based on Astras and hindu mythology so it will generate interest. They need to promote on that and not as a love story. If Bhramastra story is concentrate on Astras and how they unfold, it can work otherwise not.

Yes, they have uncharacteristically been quiet ever since Shamshera's disaster collections. No more PR articles or promotions for BM. That's quite telling.
Rather they should've started Brahmastra promotions after Shamshera..
Starting it early has done more harm than good. Brahmastra ka teaser, trailer, motion picture sab itna hype kiya..people took Shamshera in continuity with that..many didn't even know they were two different movies. Shamshera ki release ke baare me pata hi nahi tha..being a flop worked for it in a way..at least people now know of it's existence as a disaster😆badnaam huye to kya...naam to hua
