How does YRF manage to stay afloat?

They have been churning out flops after flops since so many years that I have forgotten what n when their last success was. They used to give khans big budget movies to get blockbusters every now n then but even they have failed...be it in srk in Fan or amir in TOH. Salman is also way past his expiry considering his last clear cut success was bajrangi bhaijaan way back in God knows what year. Antim has got to be his antim looking at its BO fate. Ranveer also failed and now Ranbir too. Nothing seems to be working. And this has been happening from a very long time. So I am actually very curious to know the source of their funding. Why are they still being trusted by the financiers to invest in anything they want to produce?

Shamshera?

Like r u serious???

The plus again for the umpteenth time post the pandemic is recovery from non theatrical rights which will save the day as far as losses are concerned. The recovery from non theatrical is over 150 crore which will keep losses at a minimum if any. The theatrical for most films has been in dire straits since November but these non theatrical rights are the ones which have stopped production houses losing crores and crores with most major films pulling through or suffering minor losses. The ones to go wrong and suffer big were 83 and Dhaakad but here the non theatrical deals were weak in the former and non existent with the latter.

Jo Question puchhey ho uska hi answer hai - NON THEATRICAL RIGHTS. It means even if Shamshera has failed, YRF has made 150 cr out of it before release.

Muh utha ke question puchh lena hota hai, jawaab inhe ghantaa ni chahiye hota 😆

Guddu

Yrf hasn't sold theatrical rights as of yet and if they do they will barely get 15-20 cr as per krk. Also, if any ott platform pays 150cr for a movie that has earned mere 40 some cr from its theatrical release, I am calling ED on them😆

Nice way to turn black money into white but there are people watching them m telling ya😆

U seem to forget their biggest hits which came after Bajrangi - Sultan and TZH . Tiger 3 might also save them next year

And they must have lost all their earning in Fan and TOH.

So again my question is who is funding such unreliable PH when their success ratio is so skewed

Easy: Kala dhan. Black mein cheap tickets becho logo ko movie dekhne ke liye apne personally run websites pe, ya theatre ke bahaar mall mein, aur phir reports mein aise dikhao jaise super duper hit ho gayi.
