Anything below 15 crs would be a disappointment.

The only number that will matter for Shamshera is 14.5 cr - the number required to beat Kartik Aaryan's Bhool bhulaiyaa 2. The audience and the media have short memories and love clashes (even if they are a month apart)

KA is the challenger and RK has to beat him to stake a claim here. If he is able to beat BB2's opening numbers by a couple of crores, then it will be a massive momentum going towards Brahmastra unless it bombs. It will indicate that people still want to watch RK on the big screen.

Kartik did 14 with BB2, why are we comparing him with Superstar King Ranbir?

Ranbir toh is a massive star na?… right up there with the Khans, Akshay etc. Anything less than 35-40crores is not enough.

Which Khans, Akshay etc have given 35-40 Cr opening recently? Akshay'2 last 2 movies got less than 15 Cr opening. Sooryavanshi opened with 26 Cr on Diwali Holiday.

Still, Ranbir is next level. Why are we comparing him to Kartik? You all downplay Kartik’s star power but want Ranbir to have the same opening as him?

Who said that he is a bigger star than the khans, hrithik or Ajay? Certainly nobody here. Yes, he was the biggest star among his generation. However, his current standing will be known after his two back to back movies are released.
