Commercial movies like Shamshera are more front loaded which means it should get a good opening irrespective of the content. Anything below 20 will be a disappointment .

Most people these days consume so much entertainment online, they are exhausted to go to theater and watch movies unless its some extravaganza like AVAATAR which needs to be experienced on IMAX or BIG SCREEN.

Samshera doesn't fit the bill of BIG MEGA movie.

1. Ranbir has been out of industry for so long, no one is interested to watch him.

2.Lackluster promo and confusing movie theme; is it dacoit adventure of olden days or modern day robinhood story ?

3. Day by day increasing covid numbers in the country.

4. Why spend money when you can watch pirated version on the same day afternoon or evening. Or just wait for month to watch it on OTT on BIG 65 inch TV in the comfort of your home.

@red: yes but in all honesty, people are so over all this..they don't care anymore..

@blue: but nothing beats a cinematic experience..and aren't people tired of watching stuff at home..2 full years this is all what the entire world did..more than comfort, it is depressing to be at home now..people want a reason to step out esp when now everything is open to do that after such horrible 2 years

@green: Eww..no way..who even does that? This is not 2012..i cannot help but judge anyone who does that..it is lame, extremely uncool and what fun do you even get seeing half cut faces, bad sound quality..you really expect to like any movie this way..and who seriously does that now? when movies come on OTT in a month or 2..lame lame lame!!
