Mouni Roy was the most convincing in the Brahmastra trailer

Surprisingly, I liked Mouni and Nagarjuna the most the in the trailer followed by Mr Bachchan.

Mouni's dialogue delivery was really powerful and she fits this Astraverse..... Ranbir and Alia had no impact and looked out of place... Shiva and Isha should have been played by fresh faces.

Ranbir and Alia does look like a misfit for such a heavy movie. He looks like romantic hero of regular film and cannot take him seriously.

Chemistry between leads is zero, that’s one surprise. Real couple never gave a hit movie so far in BW if you go and see the track record.

Coming to mouni, she indeed surprised me. Big B and his screen presence... no complaints . Nagarjuna was ok but better than Ranbir.

I hope KJO releases another trailer with some powerful dialogues with Ranbir centric to pull the film.

This film may work in Hindi belt but will be a white wash in other languages. KJO has lot of expectations to make this movie a Pan India movie but I feel it is hard.

I have a feeling this movie will either be a masterpiece or simply BOMB...There's no middleground

I liked Mr Bachchan the most in the trailer. His performance was the most effortless and organic. And whatever little glimpse of Nagarjuna I saw I liked it but they didn’t show him enough. Ranbir and Alia were so bad. so much overacting it looked so off that even Mouni looked better in comparison to them. But still not impressed with Mouni she doesn’t have that menacing/ scary aura of a villain which sends chills down your spine. She did just ok. I still hope that she is not the main villain here.

I never took it for granted that she will be bad,she is such a great dancer and she has been working as an actress for years so she must have some acting skills too.There have been other cases of generally thought to be bad/average tv actors giving good performances in bw.

It seems she is playing the commander of the dark army whose leader will be revealed either in the film or in the second installment

also a few keep saying that this movie will either soar high or completely fall but I think that the the movie may do average to hit/superhit business..not a BB but not a complete dud either..(basing this on the trailer and the response)

most tv actors are great performers, though the serials are exaggerated, they have lots of emotional scenes and dialogues to deliver and also close ups, e.g. rupali ganguly... even shefali shah who came from tv

the general standards of acting in bw are very low, think ananya, jahnavi, any tv actor can outshine them given a good role
