May be be she is over obsessed by her beauty and does not give same regards to her husband what he needed from her as a companion .

How are we defining success? Aishwarya is definitely more famous than her husband. But is she really more successful than him? She has Cannes and her endorsements. He has his sports teams and I believe some real estate investments. But when was the last time she had a financial or a critically successful movie?

Lets not forget that Ash SWIPED all the best actress awards for Devdas/HDDCS - on her own merit and hardwork - had nothing to do with her husband or last name. Her husband can barely get a nomination let alone win anything. We cant deny that she has several iconic roles to her name and even lots of big dance numbers whether its Nimbooda, Dola Re Dola, Silsila yeh chahat ka, Taal songs, Ishq Kamina, Kajra Re, Crazy Kiya Re etc etc.....

She did deliver some successful movies in her prime, and lots of flops too - just like Kareena. Post her comeback in 2015, yes her two comeback films flopped....ADHM was a hit. I think we should judge her from her prime and not her "comeback".

Regardless, Abhishek on the other hand, now has a grey beard and still hasn't found his identity nor delivered any good work - literally no one cares about him.

Ash is definitely a huge star and a bigger one than Abhishek.

But what she gained from Bachchan Bahu is a certain status only in the industry.

Where before she was not signed on because of her personal life, everyone became neutral towards her.

Similar to PC where she was ostracized, but her Hollywood stint and fame and marriage to Nick, made the industry more neutral towards her

AB Jr is bringing in money, because he is his father's son. That remains his crowning achievement.

I realy don't think Aishwarya is all that, but to say Abhishek is more successful is just straight up untrue. The man gets films because of his father's name and the connections he has made by growing up in the industry. It's really not that difficult to get your fund and wealth managers to do a few investments and make interest off your father's initial wealth.

Aishwarya gave up on a lot of opportunities in her prime and pretty much gave up on her career in 2010. That she still has a few big ticket endorsements tells you a lot about her star factor. Or course she likely didn't make as much money per film as he did in the prime, but then Deepika/Alia probably get paid less than Ranveer/RK despite being bigger stars too.

She’s a self made woman no doubt. And yes at her prime she was a more successful actress than Abhishek. But no we can’t look at just their primes. Abhishek also went through a good phase, has won several awards, and has had hit movies. But none of that matters now because for the last several years he’s been on a downhill trajectory until OTT gave his career a new lease in life. Same with Aishwarya. Her past success is her credit, always. But that doesn’t mean she’s a successful actress today because of HDDHS or Devdas. In terms of sheer movies and Bollywood career today she’s in no better position than her husband.

If the argument is that he got everything due to his last name, fair enough. If people don’t care for his acting also fair enough although that becomes more subjective. I just disagree with this notion that he’s an absolute failure who constantly needs to be taken care of by his dad and his wife. He has certainly expanded his career beyond movies and Bollywood and seems to be doing well for himself with his sports team.

Lesser than Aish's unhealthy and toxic obsession with Aradhya.
