Akshay is not a star to pull people to theatres just like that. If the movie was good, he should have been more sincere in his act and then gradually promote the movie the correct way.

When one is in the lead role and are in constant limelight with many appearances per year, the act needs to be worked upon.

His downfall has already started again so now he needs something else to stay relevant in movies. If he did BB2 instead of Karthik, even that would have flopped.

Because the movie is not well made, Akki's star power is quite diluted due to him making so many movies in a short period of time, people are exhausted due to his over exposure. Plus Akki in last few years isn't exactly well liked by people, even the so called bhakts only take his side when it comes to defending the ideology rather than Akshay himself. He came across as a big big hypocrite by doing Vimal ads. His Canadian citizenship lies have been exposed. Akki is basically on a downfall, and with his age, I don't see him making any comeback. Maybe he will move on to side roles in near future. Like every one, a cycle comes where an actor gains a lot and then the cycle ends. Akki's cycle has ended.

Poor execution, main cast not doing proper home work for the role is the main reason for this...

If Akki would have take some care and tried to put his heart to learn some mannerisms of periodic Raja's it would have come out way lot better.

I am not sure why director or PH didnot do any workshops for Akki or why Akki is so lazy in doing them.

I couldn’t bear more than 15 mins of this movie … the film looks flop from the first frame .. it’s outdated and most importantly horribly acted .. Manushi Chillar is a piece of ikea wood and Kannada Kumar looked intolerably annoying in a role suited for a much younger hero .. add to that their father daughter like pairing which made the movie more cringeworthy..

I would rather pay to watch some random stranger read the phone book in a monotonous drone than AK's face plastered in another movie. He's gone from being interesting to a side of boring steamed broccoli you are forced to choke down.
