I am a single person and around "marriageable" age.

Many ppl have asked me directly or subtly why i am still single or not willing to marry yet.. is it because i am homosexual 😑

Truth is , i am just not interested. I am perfectly happy with no need of relationships(might be asexual , i strongly suspect)

Anyhow, i keep telling ppl i am straight, i have had past crush on opposite sex, but i still prefer to be single !!

I want to marry when i am old and really looking for just companionship..

Society is so used to everybody rushing to marry and settling down with kids as soon as they hit their 20s that anything other than that is considered blasphemous. That's a weird tangent for anyone to get on just because you choose to remain single, almost seems to have negative connotations in regards to being called a homosexual here although it shouldn't be. Getting married due to peer pressure is the worst way to lead life.

To answer your question, I'm still not in the age bracket where marriage is strongly recommended, thank fcuk for that.

Someone who questions your sexual orientation based on *their* timeframe that you exceeded doesn’t deserve an honest answer … or any explanation at all. You just tell them you’re enjoying wherever you are right now … or say “I just am” and shrug it off without any explanation.

and move right along to the next topic … such as when they’re planning for their next baby, how happy they are with their marriage and hope their partner treats them well n keeps them occupied enough to not snoop around other people’s personal affairs. 😼

if it sounds like they’re trying to set you up with someone they think would be a good fit for you ….. never mind that, they wouldn’t question your sexuality if they had any such intentions. 😵‍💫

None asked me . Ya ppl are curious n asks if had probs tats y avoiding . U want to marry know when old , so just prepone n marry n welcome companionship early .

Some classmates had gossiped in school once that I was probably lesbian because I got super short hair.

The same boys slid into my Facebook Messenger when I posted super hot pictures few years later.

Hmmmmm yeah a guy I had liked like crazy, but wasn't giving in early or too much cause I was not sure if he was worth it.

He would ask me to date others or whatever since it was obviously and when I said I wasn't interested he would constantly pester or mock me if I was into a lesbianism.... I once told him yes ( tho am not) and asked eff off.

It's been ages now, I have lost contact with him praise lord. I hope he just never shows up again and rots in hell for all I care. Nasty piece of work, an out and out bully.
