Nah. I don't wanna jinx it . Keeping my fingers crossed though. You never know . It might actually beat RR, KGF and bahubali

I think star power of a lot of these young stars is overhyped. Until and unless the films are by popular directors having a loyal audience, they fail to deliver. If not that, then atleast a good star heroine plus chartbuster music.

Also they can't be compared to the Khans who irrespective of everything atleast drag people to theaters, sustaining that craze eventually depends on the movie though.

most of akshay kumar's movie usually gets good opening but because he does 5 movies a year some of them don't open, more due to overexposure. Ranvir's movie never good a big start, it did well because of extraordinary wom and the director and production camp. Tiger fares well, shahid is a joke, his fans might mention Kabir Singh, bur that movie had bad opening and was a big wom sleeper hit lol.

BB will definitely fare good.Expecting 10+ crores for the first day.The buzz around this film(the response regarding its trailer,songs etc.)is quite good after back to back flops given by bollywood like Jersey,JJ etc which didn't got much good excitement and love from the audience when it premiered and their trailers were released.Also since it's the sequel/part 2 of a popular film which got much love by the audience so definitely audience will flock to the cinema to see if the film met the expectations of the first one or not.I myself is very interested in this film who watch few and selected bollywood films nowadays.My gang of friends are quite excited for this film.

I hate the stars being written off after a couple of duds......this is what they did to SRK and hyped up Veeru....after Dilwale.....those smug posts ..I remember them all....the same is happening to Veeru now others are hyping Kartik now.....vicious cycle....😳.......while SRK still stands tall....very tall..⭐️...and Ranveer will bounce back with his next movie.....don't discredit the stardom of actors.....it takes a lot of hardwork to build up tht stardom..

I don't want to overhype Kartik much but from the current nepo starkids generation(Janhvi,Sara,Ananya etc)I found his acting to be decent.He is not the best actor but he is ok and tolerable to watch among the current generation.Finally after doing only comedy,social films(I found his acting,most movies and his characters same) he is doing a good, decent and different film eventhough it is the part 2 of a popular movie.Hope after BB2 he will get better range and genre of films from good and popular production houses so that we could judge his acting.😊

4 Crore is still more than what Jayeshbhai did on first day. 😆

And pre-pandemic Pati Patni aur Woh opened to 8 Crores without any big director or heroine.

If you go and search Ranveer's biggest opener before the pandemic without any popular director or heroine you would have to go back to Kill Dil days which released in 2014 and opened lower.😆

If 20 Crore opening on non-holiday is bad for you then barring two to three Akshay movies none of his films open above that range.
