The surprising fact is both movies are decent, they just happen to be duds at BO. But Ranveer's comparison here with he with Tiger and Kartik killed my spirit 😆

I don't believe Ranveer's stardom is waning because I never bought his paid hype. It's just with films like 83 and JJ that it's finally getting exposed. Don't get me wrong. He's a star, but just a star! Not a Superstar. Actors like Ranbir and Tiger are not nobodies in front of him.

Tiger has given bigger openings than Ranveer has ever despite not knowing acting. We're talking about stardom here, not acting. As for Kartik, I don't hold him in high regard either and you would know it if you had read my original post.

But it's also the truth that trade has alot of expectations from HIS movie to be a much-needed Hit which just shows the sad state of Bollywood.

Ranveer is a superstar. He has given big hits like Padmaavat, Simmbbaa, Gully Boy, Bajirao Mastani etc.

Ranbir, Ranveer and Shahid are urban multiplex and teenage crowd sensations.

All are decent actors but require solid movie plots and directors.

They cannot do well with bad story and scripts.

Tiger is actually well known in tier 2 and single screens but heropanti 2 trailer sucked big time.

I am very neutral towards Kartik but since Sonu he has an appeal from tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

He will do well if he goes the Akshay way. Love Aaj kal with an urban multiplex audience has not worked for him

Salman Khan's antim collected 4cr on first day, why isn't anyone talking about his star power? I thought his audience pulling power was universally accepted but none says anything when he fails
