I'm terrified. This job requires excellent English skills. I'm mediocre LOL and terrified that they'll figure it out.

No that's the weird thing. It's an office job. Training was supposed to be fulltime at office. After the training period it would become more hybrid. 3 days from home and 2 days from the office.

Ah, okay. Well, only your HR/Manager can answer this question. Your English is good and the email sounds fine. You could also contact them via phone if you have their number 🤷‍♀️

I'd suggest to not overthink it and just send the email and wait for their response.

Most companies do not allow personal devices inside their campuses which includes USB drives. You should just reply/call them and get all your queries answered...

Besides, in this forum most members are just qualified trolls (including me)... 😆

Communication skills are more important than English skills. I mean soft skill is important than hard skill. You can learn a hard skill but soft skill is something one has to acquire. By asking question you prove that you initiate communication and get clarification rather then sitting on the problem or assume the answer.

I am in IT , in IT field it's all about communication and get clear understanding...no room for assumptions or stalling.

UPDATE: I received this email:

Dear Nihira,

Monday from home is fine – I have requested general office days for TUE/WED/THU for you, is this ok?

If yes, we would then see you in the office next week TUE for the first time

‐------------------

I want to express that I'm fine with this all + I want to say something like 'I'll see you next week'

So my response:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your fast response.

Tuesday untill Thursday as general office days are absolutely fine.

I look forward to meeting you all on Tuesday.

Kind regards,

Is this correct or should I change something?

Don't you have the contact number of your employer? Call and ask for clarification. It's a better option than going back and forth on email.
