Sridevi also waited for the right script. It was not like she was doing everything being offered to her. Overexposure is a thing. And Khans are struggling too. But it is their career. They can do what is best for them

There is a point of overexposure if you are seen on tv everyday no one waits or is eager to see your movie!

At least she is relevant enough to be discussed here..even if its her being n overrated actress, glorified dancer or whatever. There r enough people who like her for what she is.

Otherwise it would've been out of sight,out of mind.

Agreed. And this topic was about her next project. It wasn’t the right place to bring this viewpoint in. It was just a general observation. Didn’t mean to offend some Madhuri fans. The whole reason I pondered this was what more can be done to keep female super stars more relevant.

I noticed Hema Malini when she did come back with Bhagban or Veer Zara def garnered accolades.

Same with Jaya Bachchan, with K3G, Kal Ho Na Ho and Fiza.

But I didn’t mean to undermine any of Madhuri’s accomplishments. As many have stated from certain perspectives she was successful.

I think Madhuri is doing good for herself . She has been continuously working and she has done credible acting jobs too . Her songs “Ghagra” and Netflix show are also so successful .I’d say she has a better career graph compared to her colleagues from same time.

Madhuri s male counterparts are also struggling BO wise. The past few years hasn’t been exactly successful for the 3 khans too .

Ever since Madhuri came back she has been earning very well, be it shows on TV or dance numbers or films or web series.

She has not played a mother to a hero who was her age or younger than her by 10 years.

She has been consistent and none of her work has been controversial.

She is doing well for herself

Even Salman is not as big as he once was. So? The point here? Who stays on top forever? I don’t remember one single actor. Even AB Sr has seen full days/years.

This seems like a fun project. I am glad she has turned to Mom roles. Suits her.
