Even actual partners can't be trusted with nudes though, forget about strangers online. That sounds totally miserable though and I guess common sense goes out the window when desperation on a level we can't even imagine takes over. 😒

I agree. I would never send any explicit photo to a man, even if he were my partner. I don’t feel comfortable knowing a photo like that even exists let alone being on someone else’s phone. Partners can break up. Nothing is forever, but the trauma of my photo being leaked will last me a lifetime. The most I’ll do is send a photo of my ankle, but only if he’s been good. 😉😂

A lot of people don't even know the kind of appalling things others have been through around them though, so it's partly ignorance too. I've read crazy stories, esp one that comes to mind is of a girl who's nude just wouldn't go away and keep resurfacing online, so she kept moving and changing schools to save her face but it would continue to haunt her no matter how much tried to run away from it.

That's why my mantra is to trust no one and to always have your guard on.
