Who knows? But her launch would most likely be successful.
A Netflix debut is a smart choice. In today's climate, giving her a grand debut would've been stupid. People would've ripped her apart like it usually happens with star-kids. On top of that she's SRK's daughter. If she fails like AB Jr, she's going to be trolled badly.
But releasing it on Netflix softens the blow. An Indian remake of Archie's makes no damn sense. It's no way going to connect with most of the Indian audience and would've definitely flopped badly if released in theaters.
An OTT release means nobody knows if the movie is a profit or loss because there are no box office figures. The only thing you can criticize or troll it for is it's quality. And Zoya Akhtar despite making movies as per Western sensibilities is a good filmmaker. She's not going to make trash like SOTY films even if it's not relatable. At worst it would just be a bad film. Not a meme material unless Suhana acts badly. That's the only thing which is on her.
If even she's decent or okay, paid critics would give the movie 4 to 5 stars and declare it a masterpiece. Movie would win all the awards and industry and SRK fans would hype Suhana as the best thing in the universe.
