Why Is katrina loved more than deepika?

Deepika was seen as a respectable and graceful lady

The epitome of indian beauty and womanhood

and katrina was seen as a item girl who is hot af but you only lust for her whereas deepika was the kind of girl you would take to meet your parents

Every other week someone shames her face, her past love life, past childhood, current husband, and her mere existence in BW. I see more vitriol on Katrina than love. The only difference is that Katrina has always kept a low profile and is always very neutral and more pc. Even when she dated Ranbir she didn’t really take part in cliquey shenanigans. Deepika is the opposite- loud PR and voice, loves to be perceived as edgy and loves the attention but she’s not super smart so it never lands the way she wants. If Katrina was more vocal she would be equally lynched, if not more.

Katrina is the most diplomatic and non controversial.

She also has a great body and great songs and is very pretty.

She is loved by the masses.

She has been in good books with Salman and family.

Did not bad mouth Alia or Ranbir , she played it smart.

Also during the pandemic videos of her doing housework she played it like the girl next door and hoise wife material.

Her pr is very subtle and smart

Her marriage to Vicky is being showcased as the girl who had 2 heartbreaks a very fragmented family but married a very eligible man with a very grounded Indian family.

All that definitely helps the romcom image of happily ever after.

Deepika was definitely the sweetheart she played it as a heartbroken girl who found success and married to a young actor and also talking about mental health and opening ngo and being very socially conscious.

Come pandemic the image of Deepika shattered. First the whole SSR thing, instead of paying a simple rip or condolences she made it about her and mental health.

Second the whole drugs issue and many were turned off becaus she was all about health and sports.

Then the whole JNU, she pissed off both right and left. The right do not like her and the left feel she used them for her film promotion.

@bold, this is the main cause of downfall of DP...

It’s pretty obvious that DP is not in good books with the industry people .

Other too heroines like Alia and Katrina are loved .

DP doesn’t give out a great personality tbh . In contrast industry folk love Ranveer and probably tolerate his wife .

Deepika, as pretty as she is, comes across as a very bitchy woman. I could never get along with someone like her. Katrina on the other hand, gorgeous but has a very likeable persona as well.

I think she was really loved till the JNU happened. Then the drugs issue. Both tampered her image really badly.

one reason is Katrina is expressionless in most movies anyway, now she is mainly bashed for her botox

JNU can someone explain the problem? I dont think she needs their money and it did not help chhapak's collections
