I am a little unsure if I want to watch this movie considering the premise it was based on, but I just can’t not watch SLB movies on the big screen PLUS the glorious reviews Alia’s performance is garnering. To do or not to do is the question! 🤓

Gangubai Kathiawadi is seeing good advance numbers in Maharashtra / Gujarat while other metros are also decent giveing it an encouraging advance overall. The advance for the weekend will finish in the 3.50 crore nett range which is not a huge number but decent for a heroine orientated film which is more of a content driven film rather than an initial film.

In pre covid era this film may have hit double digit numbers and probably be the highest opener where the there is no major male lead and driven by the female lead and now post covid19 that is probably a tall order but if it can get a good push on Friday then it can hope to get close to that 10 crore nett mark and that would be great for the future releases to come over the next few months.

Yikes only 3 crore? Thats horrible for SLB and superstarni Alia. Sooryavanshi did WAYY better and that was also mid-pandemic. Cant use COVID as an excuse anymore.
