I had low expectations about this film. The initial hour was slow pace so much so that I started searching reviews to decide whether to stay awake but I am glad that I decided to give it a chance .

Towards the ending it was really gripping and last hour is edge on the seat kind of experience.

All the main actors gave their career best performance and I guess the credit goes to the director for their uninhibited performance. If you like movies like Kapoor and Sons you will definitely like this movie.

I never thought I will say this but Ananya definitely has a place in Bollywood. Though she is not exceptional but she grown as an actor.

I was excited about the movie but it's EXTREMELY boring and pretentious. It was such a slog to sit through the first hour and I kept wanting to turn it off. It's incredibly slow moving and they keep showing waves crashing every few minutes to tell you how deep and profound everything is.

It gets better towards the end if you slog through the initial boredom. One of the end parts reminded me an Indian serial though - I don't want to give away spoilers but it's the part with the rolling wine bottle. I laughed out loud.

Anyway, it's a pretty dull movie and surely would have tanked at the box office. Now they'll be able to pass it off as a masterpiece.

Just watched this film and it was so boring that I'm set to go to sleep at just 9 pm. Ananya was decent in this film and that surprised me. The plot borrowed heavily from Match Point and the bits that were original (particularly the secret that is revealed at the end) is straight out of Ekta maiyya's soap operas.

I just saw Gehraiyaan

Deepika was mindblowing she carries the film on her shoulders. Ananya has a good role hers was the only one I liked throughout the film her acting is better but she still needs improvement

Siddhant has a much meatier role than gully boy and is convincing in his role. He is mysterious

Dhairya does not get that much screen space but he is promising in whatever we see of him

The twist is good. I did not see it coming.

My favourite relationship was Alisha and her dad

Yes the twist about her mother was a Ekta kapoor twist but it helped to change the dynamics in alisha's relationships

Those not watching the movie due to ema should give the film a chance

They did not reveal about Alisha’s life at the end of the movie it was ambiguous

Deepika has done so many variations of the urban, unhappy, heartbroken woman. She still hasn't mastered it though.
