True but at the same time, she should also stand her ground and request they compromise and do a mix of culture and fun. And if they don’t want to then she goes alone or treat herself to a holiday with likeminded friends. That’s what my married friend and sister did as their husband are homebodies. She has the means to do so, so ai think she’s over complicating things.

lol I don’t think it’s ever as simple as that. Everyone comes with their own expectations & need for compatibility with their LIFE Partner. I totally understand her frustration, b/c she’s relatively a well-cultured woman.

Twinkle is a very good interviewer, she knows how to make the conversation interesting and fun

Yeah, if I was married to someone who was as condescending as Twinkle is to Akshay, I would not stand for it two minutes. Your partner is supposed to criticize you in private and support you in public. It’s the other way with these two and Kajol and Ajay. Ajay also is usually seen insulting Kajol or being completely dismissive of her. Such toxic relationships. Tauba hai

Don’t you think that she should have considered this before getting married to him though? He’s never been known for being a refined, well cultured man but she chose to marry him. I understand about kids as they’re always bored but she chose a rough around the edges type of man as life partner so I’m always surprised at her comments and thinks that it just adds on to her fun/relatable domestic goddess tales.

Really nice interview. Honestly I think this is the best interview Kareena's ever done. She's definitely grown and looks and feels her best.

Twinkle...everytime I see her, I can't help but think she's unhappy. She makes these sarcastic quips to sound witty but she also tenses up and looks anxious. Just an observation

It was a good interview, I surprisingly liked Kareena here, she looks good and she seems to be at peace. She is still the brash person but I liked the fact that she acknowledged that she was not smart to pursue academics, the whole scientist quip was hilarious.

It also showed that Kareena and Akshay were pretty similar with both of them just enjoying life as it is without too much stress.

I think where Saif and Kareena marriage works is that Saif has had other people for his so called intellectual hobbies like his sisters and friends and Kareena makes him just to chill and have fun.

With Twinkle I think she expects a bit more from Akshay and probably misses that similar hobbies connect, you can see that though she has very sarcastic jibes and laughs it off, her body language is very stiff and rigid.

Yeah, I think with Saif he has a lot of friends and family he can engage with for super intellectual conversations, while enjoying Kareena's fun, quirky sense of humor. And I think they have the same outlook and goals in life

She’s often said that. I once remember an Iv with her where she said how her family always wants to do completely different things on vacation, than her. They went on vacation to Rome where there was some Van Gogh art installation which she was dying to see but her husband found it too boring & her son kept making faces. You could see how frustrated she was. Fact is, Akshay is completely different to a TK. Marriage is incredibly hard anyone, for absolutely everyone. But such diverse people would naturally find it even harder!
