The important part is that Pushpa has been WAY more successful than the last few major Bollywood movies. South indian movies seem to connect more now with people than Bollywood who have lost it.

Allu, Prabhas , Yash are around 15 years younger than our almost 60 years old superstars. That is the problem in the years to come.

It should have been a LOT easier for BW stars to have that craze in the south..make more money than local stars. But it is the other way round.

Like Kgf2..Pushpa2 will be the most awaited film next year. Its trailers will do the numbers Kgf2 has done.

I am from Hyderabad into South movies then Bollywood.. that's why I wrote what felt about pushpa.

I never saw KGF but my hubby saw both and said KGF deserves the hype but not pushpa. So cannot talk about KGF but coming to pushpa, Bollywood is behaving like they never saw films like pushpa which made is laugh. I still feel it is just the hype or good PR cashing on hype

Maybe, it could also be that Bollywood hasn't done a really great masala movie in quite some time so movies like Pushpa look more appealing than they are.

Small town India is represented by low budget romcoms, feel good cinema.There is a lot of angst, suffering among the poor and rural Indians. They want to be represented in cinema. They want a hero who speaks for them, fights for them..romances women they relate to.

Ajay Devgn can do that ...
