Only the first Dhoom movie was good, Dhoom 2 already sucked

People rightfully bash Dhoom 3 since it was even worse than Dhoom 2 but I don't get the praise for the latter. Is it just because of the attractive actors? I mean I actually like Hrithik a lot and he tried his best (although not award wordy, not sure why he won the Filmfare award for this?) but the script was garbage. And Aishwarya has been great in plenty of movies but her character her was soo badly written (the whole romance really which was the center of the movie)

Dhoom 1 remains the best overall. John Abraham as the villian was superior to the others, he wasn't some over the top almost heroic character but just a typical criminal doing his thing. His ending was great too and even Abishek was fine in the first movie
