Did Hrithik indeed reject Bahubali?

Did Hrithik indeed get offers for Bahubali and Magadheera lead roles or their remakes?

Did he indeed reject Bahubali and Magadheera?

Or is it all rumours?

Also what happened to Immortals of Meluha film in which Hrithik was offered to play Lord Shiva? Was it a rumour or did it get shelved?

He was doing Ashu Gowariker's Mohendjaro around the same time.

Imagine doing faltu film like Mohenjodaro and not Bahubali.

Must be regretting his choices later.

Anyway Prabhas was perfect in his role and looked truly Indian and did not try to look foreigner with brown hair or lightened skin.

Rajamouli said Prabhas was his only choice. He did say Hrithik would be the best choice for a Hindi remake of Magadheera. That was a year after JA though and Hrithik wouldn't have agreed even if it wasn't a remake.

HR did Mohenjo Daro after Ashutosh came back to him with the script (he'd rejected earlier) after he lost Shuddhi and other projects when they didn't want to wait for him after the delays his brain injury caused. Never choose a film out of loyalty kids. 😆

Prabhas was just perfect......Hritik would have made an equally good Bahubali if not better...

Hrithik was never offered tell role..so how will he reject probably magadeera remake but rajmouli never chooses hindi actors over telugu ones so he would not have offered the role

Prabhas did it, owned it, and is Bahubali as far as audience is concerned.

Hrithik would not have been better. He would not have even come close. In fact, he might have ruined it because let's face it, women do flower pot roles in his movies. Can you imagine him letting Devasena steal the show?

Bollywood has always had a bad habit of copying movies, without buying rights until now, and claiming it as theirs. Now, they're even claiming to have rejected the same movies made a success by non Hindi filmmakers?! Bragging *oh, we'd have done it better* is actually a nasty attempt at appropriation.

Edited to add: normally, I'm a no borders to art kinda gal. This kind of nonsense makes me want to say to Bollywood stars *stay in your mediocre industry and don't ruin decent movies.*

Why? I have to say Bollywood is better to be here? Even the most ardent BW fan will know it ain't. They're mediocre on a good day.

Salman khan remakes banata hai par usne credit nahi diya ye terko kaise pata hai, kisi ne complain kiya kya aaj tak matlab kuch bhi , ek bahubali kya chal gayi kuch log tollywood k ghisi piti movies ko art samajhne lag gaye 😆

jo log Satyamevajayate mein John ki bike scene ko b grade bulate hai unko RRR ka bike scene Oscar type lagne lagta hai ajeeb hypocrisy hai bhai
