No. I fell into a coma in the first chapter itself. I don’t like fantasy books unless it’s a hardcore romance novel. Personally speaking, I’d rather be single than choose any of the options (Harry vs Ron) lol. But generally speaking, of course I would choose option 2.

This comparison just doesn't work because canonically Harry-Hermione are just great pals and are never shown to harbor any romantic feelings towards eachother.

People think Harmony is better mainly because of David Yates, who seems to like the idea of Hermione being with the lead hero, and therefore added tons of non-canon one on one interactions between Daniel and Emma in the film series. While Ron is relegated to being the fumbling sidekick etc. Heck, film Ginny has it even worse with all her spunk and vibrance from the books being totally absent.

There are loads of video essays on this injustice on YT. So blind shippers should go and watch that before shoving their opinions on others like they are facts.

Ok rant over 😆

harry-hermione fans i had huge debate

i would pick ron anyday that guy begged begged bellarix to torture him instead he bllodied his hand while trying to break the prison cell to get to hermione eventually saved and her

above all hermione loved him and he loved her

i haven't read all the books but i have watched the movies so many times that i've lost count. I like Hermione too cuz she always saved the day with her tricks.

not sure why we're only left with harry and ron as our choices. if i had the option to choose Lily's love for Harry, I'd choose that.... cuz such is the power of unconditional love, it can literally shield you from bad energies even after the person is long gone and you can conjure up a patronus that can always come in handy during your darkest moments.

Actually, I don't mind Snape either. For someone who wasn't even with Lily the whole time, he really came through.

that s thing hermione didnt always saved the day in movies they gave hermione many a moments that was not hers that actually belonged to ron or harry they turned her to be so perfect that it actually took the nuances that hermione had

she is very lovable the way she is i adore her because of how i much i relate to her in books there was no need to give her ron or harry s moments specially rons to put her onto a pedestal

i had a huge debate with harmony shipper hence the question

i agree mother s love is one of the purest love out there and it saved harry twice

i am not much of snape fan honestly he has his own set of crimes

i like remus though i think he was great and mcgonall and dumbeldore though he is very infamous 😆

Lol, I am chill with all ships honestly. It's fine to enjoy movie interpretations that dont match books or to ship a non-canon/problematic pairing, since being part of a fandom is about feeling passionate about a story/character/pairing and just having fun.

However, unfortunately every fandom has got those loud and obnoxious fans who think they are somehow morally superior for their fandom choices and actively try to make fans of other ships/characters miserable. These fans do so by making toxic, morally preachy and often misinformed comments that simplify complexities of characters they hate or turn a blind eye to counter arguments.

Example 1: Ron is just some dumbo who is always scared as shit and needs saving from his superior best friends (Not true, he is equally chivalrous)

Example 2: Snape in an incel who was only after Lily because of lust (Not true, incels are people who blame women for their non-existent love life. Snape never blamed Lily for anything and left her alone when she cut off ties with him).
