It’s my guilty pleasure movie😆

but I always found it stupid. and now that I have a 7 year old, I find it even more stupid. There is no way a 7 year old can understand complexity of love and relationships. It would have made much more sense if the girl was at least a teenager.

plus kajol not being married all these years, not knowing about Tina . They didn’t have any mutual friends? Like nothing made sense.
but it’s a fictional movie, candy floss romcom drama. And we should take it as that.

So? As if people don't discuss fiction. It's fiction. Not fantasy.

It's just a silly KJo movie. And no the movie wasn't garbage, only the storyline was. Everything from the acting to the music to the direction to execution was top notch.

Aladdin comes under fantasy genre. KKHH is not that.

If the movie is taking itself seriously then we have all the rights to question it. KKHH not purposely silly. The movie wants the audience to care about the characters and the story despite it being a rom-com, so there's nothing wrong in finding reason in it's story or it's characters.

Well, you are all kind of twisted as well ....

You are really analysing every details of a 90's Bollywood movie in 2021?

You are just overthinking it.

Who cares about whether what's happening in a movie is commandable in real life ?

It is just a fictional story that Karan Johar wanted to tell 23 years ago.

Whether you like the movie or not is another story and is a question of taste.

Do people also get shocked when they see the twisted mind of the Joker or Kevin Spacey in Seven ?

No, because they know it's just a movie even if the universe depicted is kind of realistic.

Are you really telling others what they should do or not?

You are just giving advice when nobody asked for it. If you don't care about discussing fiction then you could've ignored this thread.

Never heard of this before

So the real talent as far as Indian filmmakers are concerned seem to be - pick a HW/foreign movie that nobody's heard of (although it might be very difficult nowadays with internet, youtube etc) and adapt it in such a way that nobody recognizes it👍🏼

She knew her pregnancy would've complications and would kill her but still went for it. In a way, she committed suicide.

If people can be pro-choice in abortion, shouldn't they be pro-choice in someone choosing their unborn daughter's life over her own?
