I completely agree with him. And to those people who are complaining about his comment, they are being hypocrites. This is social media and everyone has an opinion and a voice. So he expressed what he felt though his comment. There is nothing wrong in this. Here, people are like let madhuri what she likes as it is her life, then in the same way let him say what he likes as it is his life. Those who have problem with his opinion and saying negative things are doing the same thing as he has done, something which is called hypocrisy.

it’s not about staying relevant I think - it’s about the trend of social media and if you are active on SM and one feel like doing that, good for them. I don’t read anything more than that in this reel.

There isn't anything wrong with this particular one but a lot of them are ridiculous . The trend of being active on SM does put pressure on people to create this sort of content every other day and that's probably why most of the things you see there look dumb. The pressure's gotta be more on celebs. The need to stay relevant can't be ruled out. Even someone like Aishwarya had to give in after staying away from SM for a long time.

Hema became producer, director, did TV, became editor of women's magazines and a politician. There is a lot more MD can do beyond dance. Asha Parekh was also successful producer and later became CBFC chairperson. There are no limits for successful actors.

I’m confused. Why can’t Madhuri make reels or want to do more acting roles? 60 year old Akshay can work with Sara Ali Khan but Madhuri has to pack her bags?

In general, even if celebs are doing it to stay relevant - it’s the platform for visibility - yes and nothing wrong if they want to use of it. Just like how certain professionals use LinkedIn or other related platforms for same reasons. Doesn’t necessarily mean they are desperate. Some really enjoy being active/connected and some not. Personal choice.

but I ageee on going overboard and posting ridiculous content - now that’s a whole separate discussion 😆

The same way, the nasty uncle vibes of his post can be pointed also. The ageism and sexism will be criticized.

Madhuri at least was doing her own thing.

If he pokes his nose into what a sentient and free adult is doing out of her own free will, other people will poke their noses into his also.

Like I might say, it's a shame a writer who worked with New York Times has now stooped to attacking successful women in his desperate bid to stay relevant.

Yeah, I knew it . Playing women's card and victim's card is everyone's favourite nowadays.

You mean to say only haters and envious, dried up writers on Twitter have freedom of speech?😆 That was *your* defense of it in essence.

Madhuri was doing her own thing on her time on her own profile. He chose to poke his nose into it. The rest of us choose to comment on the pathetic little twit he is.

And of course those who don't have any defense left will pull out accuse-of-victim-card card.😆

Oh, I got quite clearly what you're saying, thanks very much.

You first claimed the little twit had freedom of speech to say what he wants about Madhuri. Which he does.

I exercised my freedom of speech to call the pathetic little man out for what he is. You didn't like it because (well, people who have read your posts can guess why😆, and it ain't in support of freedom of speech).

But you have no defense against truth. So you resort to accusing people of playing victim.

Now you're trying to spin it as though that's not what you meant at all.
