Normal cine goer predictions cannot be taken seriously.

Mostt of them don't know how the box office works, how is the ACTUAL hype measured. Youtube views are just one of them, and today it has become pretty notorious as you can easily buy Youtube views for money.

So I would never consider Youtube promo views as barometer for movies popularity.

The biggest culprit of 83 is that was just highlights of world cup 83 like you watch in Star Sports, nothing more than that. There never was the UNDERDOG kind of story shown right from the first match.

The 2 years delay, accumulated interest made the movie financially non-viable had they sold it to Netflix or Amazon Prime the movie would have been BIG HIT on OTT.
