How is Saif still surviving in the industry?

He literally has NO star power. Bunty aur Babli 2 is the latest flop, added to his repertoire of flops. Yet he continues getting film after film.

I wonder if he'll pull down Vikram Vedha with his lack of star power. The only reason that film will work is because of Hrithik.

Whilst contemporaries like Suneil Shetty who enjoyed a far more successful run at the box office have faded out, Saif continues getting films, despite not delivering at the box office.

Thoughts??

hes a good actor. he is playing second fiddle and villain roles now. he can continue like nawazuddin or pankaj tripathi.

Acting skill. Saif has plenty. Hrithik is a great looker, but if roles are treated equally in Hindi version of Vikram Vedha, his deficiencies are going to badly show when he is up against Saif.

Saif is a very good actor. You cannot hold him responsible for the failure of a terrible script and screenplay like that of B&B2.

Vikram Vedha will work if Hrithik is given scope like that of Dhoom2/war and the heavy acting is left to Saif! Honestly speaking Saif should’ve got the Vedha’s role but well!

Saif is a great actor. He is not one dimensional. He has been able to pull off a comedy (DCH), antagonist (Omkara), romantic hero (Hum Tum). He tries different scripts and believes in improving. That's the important part. He has tried to keep up with the times and not glue himself to one type of a role.

Saif had a better run than Suneil Shetty and he's almost 10 years younger. They're not really contemporaries.

Saif's range in roles in just the last few years is more than Hrithik's entire career. Saif's a chameleon.

Saif is enjoying himself as an actor. He is getting to do varied roles and critics are loving him.He has been very smart in planning his career.

The answer is = nepotism.

He is only getting roles because he is Taimur's daddy.
