I agree..
His character had so much potential just like Tony, but where one got the best character arc, this one went downhill I really liked him till Avengers 1 and CAWS is one of my favourite mcu movies, but in Civil war he disappointed 😐
Even in Endgame... Idk what to make of that ending It negates his entire journey
Captain America the First avenger
It was such a great movie
I actually loved his character there
But after Avengers the same Steve Rogers wasn't there anymore
I agree CAWS was a great movie
But again in Civil War his arc went downhill
Even in IW his arc was better than in Endgame
And I do agree after whatever Steve went through he deserved a good life but going back in time and messing up the time isn't right
Especially when you aren't the one chosen by Time Stone unlike Strange
Steve Rogers started out as a person way before of times in modern era and how he navigates around with his friends Bucky and Sam
And the Bucky for whom he fought so much
How did he let him be in modern life so easily?
The character arc ain't bad...
It's always confused!
One question, did he disappointed in Civil war because he’s against Tony or just in general?? I mean a lot of people don’t like him for taking Bucky side which’s all he actually does in the movie. Fight to protect Bucky.

CW is my least favourite Marvel movie (Ironman movies excluded) but it has nothing to do with Steve’s character arc or anyone else’s for that matter but it just lacks something.
I guess it all comes down to preference because I couldn’t sit through Ironman’s first two movies but I love Tony as an Avenger.
Well, Wilson Steve has been there when Bucky needed him for the most part of these movies so it’s wrong to say he shouldn’t live his life and do what makes him happy for once in his life when the opportunity presented itself. He has been putting others before him and for him to be blamed and disliked for putting himself first for once is what’s not right. I understand not liking a character but reasons here just don’t make sense at all. I don’t see nobody hating on Tony for being selfish most of these movies.Originally posted by: Amphitrite

As far as messing with time goes. Everyone did to fight Thanos again for the sake of their friends and families so I don’t think we can put the blame on Steve for taking advantage of it in the end. You can’t possibly believe the time wasn’t messed with after they time travel to retrieve the stones to save everyone. Again I don’t mind disliking a character by your own preferences but these blame game is uncalled for. Steve Rogers did right by Bucky when he fought Tony and did something for himself for the first time in his life at the end of the movie. I don’t see nothing wrong in both.
I dont blame just Steve for the time issueOriginally posted by: Beautyful_Mess

All of them did a stupid thing by going for it
But in the end both Strange and Steve should have known what was to be done
Strange also was stupid as he didnt even stop Steve
Tony is been selfish agreed...many times he has done stuff he shouldn't and there is a list about it. I would take hours to talk about all his stuff
He has himself been impulsive
Even the last scene could have been avoided if he gave the stones to maybe Carol?
For a matter of fact, she has the powers of one infinity stone so surely she would have saved herself while killing Thanos
But he didn't which itself was aggravating
But that still doesn't look like he should mess up with time to go back to Peg
And secondly, Tony being like that is in each of the movies
Each movie had it
But not Steve
Steve was either great or his arc went downhill
Its aggravating coz one movie you see Cap and other movie you are confused
Perspective is different here Kiffs
You see it as blaming Steve solely but I see it as my perception
You and I both see it differently
I actually liked and quite enjoyed Civil war. But yes, not a fan of endgame and time travel thing. Not because of the concept but it makes entire built up underwhelming just like GOT

IDK about others
But I wanted to smash each and everyone's heads during Civil War
Tony was stupid in looking at an easy route and just signing away the accords
And Steve was being impulsive as hell at this point and wasn't the usual Cap!
They should have done something in IW onlyOriginally posted by: Kulasya.

Well I agree it’s all perspective because not once have I seen a different Cap in all these movies. From where I stand he always stayed true to himself except by the end of the end game. He put himself first for the first time and that’s not like him at all. Even then I’m just glad he was impulsive once in his life and went back to Peg. 💕 he deserves a little bit happiness. I never saw a confused Cap 😆 he always stood by what he thought is right and knew what he wanted to do and did it.Originally posted by: Amphitrite

The time was already mess with by the Avengers and Strange wasn’t even there when they did it. I also doubt he knew what Steve was up to when he traveled back. So he’s actually blame-less in all this.
Anyways I peace out
Whenever CW is involved and you critic either Steve or Tony the people perceive you're the fan of the other
When in reality you are neutral
But anyways
Its what I perceive and its what I feel
I know not many agree with my POV but that's me
We can agree to disagree here and be at peace<3
