Bankruptcies are questionable , it’s an avenue to down dirty money down the drain . It can happen to khans too . No one knows how much money Bachans have stashed in different countries. income tax laws have become for streamlined in last 2 decades .

Amitabh quit Bollywood for politics , so his comeback was true second innings after the audience moved on . I would say Aamir and Salamn are on their second -good phase . They were not even big in 90’s Lagaan changed for aamir. Salman arrived very late as superstar .

In any case none of them enjoyed stardom Amitabh had and no other star may truly have the great 2nd innings Amitabh still has .

I mean you can worship and be part of any fandom . That should not blind you to facts dancing naked in front of you.

Sonu is a good stage performer, mainly because he has an amazing voice and is talented. But when it comes to combining showmanship with talent and crowd interaction - AR Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy say HI !

They can wipe the floor with Sonu when they put up their shows - plus they are multi talented (singing, composition, instruments, etc.) - not just limited to vocals like Sonu sir.

And popularity wise - people of all age groups still LOVE Lata, Asha, Rafi, Kishore - and they were purely playback singers. They are revered and will remain evergreen for eternity.

Lets see how well remembered Sonu SIR will be 20-30 years from now.

Id rather want Salman to go Rajni Kath route or stop acting than doing these elderly side fiddle roles. It only suits for srk and aamir.

AB Sr. had a horrible string of movies before he was FORCED to switch around and start playing his age. He is a LEGEND and its undeniable that holding movies on his own at this age and his reinvention are just mind numbing.

At the same time, he has seen LOWS like no one else has. I do not think any of the 90s era stars every reached that point - SRK is treading tough waters, but even he has not made completely unwatchable movies with ZERO redeeming properties.

To name a few:

BOOM

AKS

LAL BADSHAH

TOOFAN

AJOOBA

MRITYUDATA

and it goes on and on. some of these movies are even recent ones post his second coming after Mohabbatein

I think this comparison itself is unfair - we are comparing BigB's second coming with Khan's who are still riding the first wave. Its just two different eras even if running parallel
