Do you think Kareena is a role-model for working women?

I just saw this shot where she returns to shoot few weeks after her second baby is born. I'm not saying she is an anomaly but I think she is pretty inspiring for all working women. Let's face it, not everyone can do what she is doing, I know some women from all walks of life may have some traits which she exemplifies, but since this is a Bollywood forum, there's no harm in discussing Kareena's trajectory as I feel she has not only managed to work, but also stay relevant and in all top 5 rankings for 20 odd years. That's a first for ANY Bollywood actress, I know that many others have managed to stay relevant but not continuously like she has. That's a milestone in itself.

Do you guys agree/disagree?

No, she isn't the first. There have been many before and will be many after her as well.

Role model would be if she is doing something no one is doing and is therefore something worth imitating. But she's not doing anything of that sort.

Going to the gym, and shooting ads is hardly an achievement, unless you want it to be. In 2021, everyone is doing it.

There are so many yester year actress who had worked through their pregnancy and also right after giving birth, Kareena I guess is the most hyped one here. But the way she enjoys and celebrates her pregnancy is so cute, when she walked the ramp or attending parties and not to forget her maternity fashion screams everything comfy and totally 'her'. I always get the pregnant Rachel Greene vibes from her❤️

Other actresses had children and went back to work. Jaya Bachchan did it in 70s after having 2 kids in less than a 2 yr period - while married to a patriarchal sexist superstar.

A role model is someone who's the first person to do something and will inspire the coming generations to follow her. Many actresses in the 70s kept working throughout their pregnancies and got back to work after having kids. It's just that they didn't have glamorous pregnancy shoots and their PRs hyping up their each and every move during and after the pregnancy😂

Not for working women...Maybe for actresses

Working women work through months of their pregnancy and get 20+ weeks maternity leave...They don't always have people helping them get back in shape or people taking care of their child...they do everything so no Kareena can't be role model for working women...Yes, They would like the luxury Kareena has

Why ???

I think it's a choice that a lot mothers make, I know a lot of mothers who go back to work for numerous reasons. Financial being just one . A lot of woman leave their 20 day old babies with their grandparents because they can't afford to lose their career

Iam sure a lot of actresses must have done this

It's only the actresses of 90's like Kajol, Aishwarya Madhuri , they decided to be with their kids till they were a certain age and went back to work and did well. Kajol was so involved in her kids that she let go of so many films because of them which is again fine because thats the choice she made . Otherwise she could have have left the child if she wanted to with the help. She had the means and everything

I don't think Kareena is doing something extraordinary because it just a choice she made and actresses of her status have flexible hours and days it's not a mon to Friday 9 to 5 job and they. New mothers do that job too cause they have to and support the family financially and live with the mom guilt too!

All working women has been working during their pregnancy and after pregnancy before kareena.

she is certainly a role model to aspiring actresses. she is a superstar in her own right, no two words about that.
