I think it's an interesting movie, even though it does take the suspension of disbelief to a new level. I loved the way the movie is structured as a supernatural thriller and comedy, till the end reveals it was a person, not a ghost.

Horror-comedy, psychological thriller, and Priyadarshan's quintessential quirky touch makes it very watchable and Akshay is excellent, he even outshines Vidya in this particular movie.

I believe the movie was a huge hit, but somehow people don't give it the cult status it deserves. I think it's right there among Priyadarshan's best.

I know I thoroughly enjoyed it in the theatre, even though the second half dragged a bit, but the performances were sincere and gleaming with intelligence.

I think it's a better movie than Stree.

The comic timing was so perfect in this movie and I owe it to Paresh Rawal & Yashpal Pandey. Horror movies with comedic themes is one of my favourites. I feel like I can relate more to this theme as I love horror but I still sleep next to my mum because I’m an absolute chicken shit.

I also feel a sick kind of enjoyment seeing everyone be scared together. Though this may sound weird but I’ve always pictured being in a haunted house with 50 other people with me and getting that adrenalin rush of being terrified in togetherness. That is my example of Hum Saath Saath Hain cos it sucks being the only person experiencing the scary shit alone. 🤣

So yes this movie was like a fantasy come true and Vidya Balan was absolutely terrifying. I was torn between loving the Ami je tomar song and being too scared to listen to it because I couldn’t watch the video of her dancing in that possessed-looking state. Therefore I used to put a towel over the TV and dance to my hearts content 🤣

Yeah horror with comic elements is lit. I don't think enough credit is given to Bhool Bhulaiya as it was genuinely funny and supremely scary at the same time. Vidya Balan's dance was meant to be iconic, and it rightfully became a rage.

Akshay was damn good as well, he pitched in a very fine performance and carried the movie on his shoulders.

I think the Priyadarshan- Akshay combo is a lethal one. Expect the unexpected when it comes to them👍🏼

First time i watched this movie, I was scared out of my mind. Couldn’t sleep.

Then at new year’s, cablewala played this movie on his channel. Same thing happened. Couldn’t sleep.

Then comes March, I get chicken pox, something (the pox maybe) possessed me and I decided to watch this movie (on DVD). I watched the damn thing almost everyday. Mera horror movies ka darr kaafi nikal gaya thanks to this.😆

I really enjoyed this movie back in the day

It made me scared n gave some laughs too😆

Haven't watched it for a while now so cant remember everything but it definitely had my attention. Apart from Akshay, I liked the rest of the cast.

Maybe I will watch it again, sometime this year lol for the nostalgia
