Anyways judge me all you want(I really don't give a damn!) but I find the insider/star kids/nepo products far more enchanting and fascinating(even the ones I troll/mock from time to time) than the overrated and overhyped bland outsiders for whom the wokes and social justice warriors have a soft corner for just because of their background I mean the star kids who are genuinely good will get hated on just for breathing but if an outsider(s) really sucks, still the usual suspects will deliberately overlook their blatant flaws and fawn over them for obvious reasons They will always get sympathetic reactions out of the usual suspects which really pisses me off!

So yeah....I will always support the nepo products over the bland, overrated outsiders!

Asia works on connections and names not on talent

Be it IT company, manufacturing or bollywood or any field thats how it is

Most jobs are filled on recommendations or internal employee contact not on basis of talent or interview

Promotions are given based on your networking skill not on talent even in IT company

Does not matter its most famous It companys of world

Same way bollywood too works on that basis only everyone is related to everyone

Even outsider like deepika has famous padukone name and who was her boyfriend a ranbir kapoor than ranveer singh both have powerful bollywood conections. Deepika played her game very well after entering bollywood thats why she was No. 1 than an anushka or sonam or any other who came at that time

Alia is playing same game by hooking up with ranbir kapoor now and of course her God father K Jo

Either you are extremely lucky to get an SLB movie like ranveer singh to get famous or you need god father

Katrina became bad boy salmans GF for that reason again clever game by her

Same thing happens in corporate you have god fathers or Boy friends(because most in power are men but it can be women too) in powerful position to climb up corporate ladders or you belong to big alumni colleges with contacts thats how ppl usually become a big shot even if they have no talents or others are better

Entire asia works like that only

How salman became super star salim khan son or you think bartajya will give him chance (with his terrible acting and dancing skill an outside would never get)

How SRK became super star he had connections his father was freedom fighter he used that phrase to go up

Amir khan family connections (he was horrible actor in 80s and 90s)

All big stars have had connections not come up like that only from 1940s not now (except a dilip kumar, dev anand, dharmendra, sunil dutt etc) many hero/heroines had connection so they started acting

Raj kapoor had a father connection, joy mukherjee father was owner of studio etc you just see all background you will be surprised

Either you belong to a family or big famous sur name or become someone muse etc

Dharmendra did affair with meena kumari etc all have back story

amitabh bachchan had letter from indra gandhi so many flops yet got chance and a famous father too

its just that we do not know many back story so we think they came up on talent etc

now media is more visible so we know back storys thats all

Please tell me how the hell is nepotism killing business??? Nepotism exists because people exist who want to watch them and are obsessed with them. No one makes topics on nepo kids more than you in the forum. Even the fans of the nepo kids are not as obsessed with them as much as you are given your daily topics. The day the audience and the media stop propping up the NEPO kids and giving them attention, the system will change. Even the so called haters of nepotism on social media, follow the nepo kids - even if they do it for bashing them and trolling them (pathetic) and bringing them down. The debut of a big star's kid vs a newbie, the audience will flock to watch the former because of the surname associated with it. Its a simple case of demand and supply.

Start watching the above movies in theaters, and KJO will start pouring money into those movies as well and propping them up as the the next best thing.

Blaming Bollywood is easy, but they are only a part of the problem. This whole Bollywood-Media-Audience vicious circle is the reason why nepo kids prevail a lot more than outsiders.

The same issue is with content driven movies not doing as well as say some garbage like Race 3. That is changing slowly and now bigger banners are picking up content driven movies as well now, instead of focusing only on fluff.

See we can quote multiple examples of failed star kids but what happens is, alot or movies get wasted on them even though they aren't deserving because of which deserving outsiders lose opportunities. So yes, the audience makes the ultimate choice but it sucks for talented outsiders to not get as many opportunities to prove their mettle.

It's best to just acknowledge that Nepo kids are shoved down people's throats cuz their home folks make sure they get what they want. Trying to tell us that they're around because we like them that much is way off the mark.

They are shoved down our throats, because we demand. Stop following them on social media. Making threads about them. Watching their movies in theaters or on streaming platforms.

Even mainstream movies with outsiders bomb, regardless of quality. Some part of blame has to be taken by the audience - things are just going to change magically. Either make an effort, or dont crib

Its like the people who do not go out to vote, and then complain about the government. Atleast put efforts on your end as the bare minimum first
